#KnowledgeIsPower – Free Weekly Download – 2/9/18

Let’s be real. Everybody has that certain someone, either at work, or in your social life, that every time you see them, your blood pressure spikes to the moon. You can’t stand them. There are two types of people like that: a) people who upset others, and b) people who live for the sole, express purpose of upsetting others, meaning there’s a conscious attempt to intentionally get under other people’s skin, almost to the point of enticing violence. For me, it takes a lot to get me to that point, but when I do, I’ve got no problem dog-walking somebody in the jaw to let them know ‘leave me alone or else’.

I look at it like this: if someone, be it a supervisor, an acquaintance or a sworn enemy is giving you the high blood pressure blues, at the end of the day, the stress of it all affects you, not them. You’ll be in the hospital having stress tests, chest pains or any other symptoms of an impending stroke (or worse), and the antagonizer will be going on about their business. I don’t think folks like that should win, so this week, I am including a PDF that I hope will help as many of you as it has me.
