Let’s face it. Everybody has had that ONE supervisor, the one who thinks they’re King Farouk or the Queen of Sheba, their (stuff) doesn’t stink, the sun rises and sets on their every word and all that jazz. I’ve always been of the mindset that the WORST thing you could ever do to someone who already has a God-complex is to give them a position of authority. This is one of the things that causes people to kirk out at the workplace: one person with position bullying (i.e. harassing) another person until they quit, break down, or do something to be terminated (like beat the living dogsh-t out of their supervisor before they walk out for good). Hopefully most of you don’t have to deal with that right now. Moreover, it’s this kind of quality, in a positive way, that leads people to start their own businesses and venture out to take charge of their own lives.
