My first introduction to anything regarding the Holocaust was back in 1987, my sophomore year of high school. One particular week, all week long, CBS Television was running promos for a TV movie they’d produced called ‘Escape From Sobibor’. I didn’t know what it was about, but I was intrigued, so before the airing, I took a hot shower, got some food, and watched the movie. To say I was shocked would be an understatement.
Later that week and in the weeks to come, I found myself checking books out of the school library, books on concentration camps like Auschwitz, Birkenau, Bergen-Belsen, Dachau, Mauthausen and the like, and the unspeakable horrors that the Jewish community endured during the era of Nazi Germany and World War II. I immediately found Jewish history not too dissimilar from my own, and the stories that arose from that maniacal era (most famous of all, “Schindler’s List”) were much like those my ancestors endured.
This week’s FREE e-book is but one of those stories. Please watch the video posted below, it will give you an overall much better than I can. The indomitable spirit of Man, in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds.
I’m hoping that you will enjoy this week’s FREE Download, “Man’s Search for Meaning”!
