Ok, ok, I apologize, I’ve been away for a couple of weeks, due to both illness and overwork, but this week, I’m back with a brand new Healthy Living Tip! Sadly, it comes in conjunction this week with the loss of a legend.
Aretha Franklin was, simply, the greatest female voice who ever lilted a note. No need to repeat what the world already knows, in the interest of time. She will certainly be missed. It is reported that for the last 8 years, she quietly battled pancreatic cancer. Pancreatic cancer has a prognosis of 6-12 months to live, once diagnosed, so the fact that she made it 8 years is a testament alone to good medicine.
This week’s Healthy Living Tip covers 11 symptoms of pancreatic cancer, as well as foods to incorporate into your diet to help prevent and/or stave it off. Plus, there’s a BONUS VIDEO below.
Rest In Peace, Aretha Franklin “The Queen of Soul” (1942-2018).
