Rhubarb is one of those weird but effective roots which, to me at least, is as bizarre as its spelling, but if it works, why question it?
Health benefits of rhubarb are equally mysterious, but known benefits include fighting cancer, lowering cholesterol, is an antioxidant, and is also high in vitamin K (which is essential for strong bones), vitamin C, iron and manganese. Best of all, another great delicacy – rhubarb pie!
