Happy Memorial Day Weekend 2019!

‘Tis the season to be healthy………and stay that way. To maintain that health and improve where possible. One of the main ways we can do so is to preserve what I call the ‘nerve center’ of the body. The heart. Of course, the heart, brain and liver are the 3 most important organs in the human body; you can live with one kidney, one lung, one eyeball. But you take away any of the other organs I mentioned above and it’s bad news.

Lately, I’ve been making various posts about heart health, due to stress, hypertension, and many other maladies that pose problems for the heart. In this Healthy Living Tip, I’m going to share some information on how to unclog your arteries from plaque that may accumulate throughout time and lead to blood clots, heart attacks, etc.

According to one health blog, some of the various foods that help unclog heart arteries, among others, are avocados, asparagus, broccoli, seeds and nuts, olive oil, turmeric, and watermelon – right on time for the summer season!
