This past trip around the sun has been one that leaves me with mixed emotions. It’s been a year of highs and lows, chaos and calm, happiness and tragedy: success on the job, more show ideas which I plan to film and post here soon, a wonderful trip (albeit annually) to the beach to ring in New Year’s Eve, enjoying family during the holidays; and yet conversely, my dissatisfaction at not being able to put together the shows I wanted this year, divisions between people and the current climate of politics in this country and the world abroad, and probably the worst, the death of a best friend who was like a brother, the immediate aftermath of which I’m still dealing with psychologically. I’ve begun to question and wonder about moments and things and I always say, the more you wonder, the less you live, but hell, some things can be paralyzing to the point where over analysis IS paralysis.

Sometimes you have to slow down, calm your thoughts, and take a breath. Those of you that know me know, these three things aren’t anything I was used to before, until I had to get used to them.

So you can say this year has been a year of adjustments as well. I got hold of the PDF below which has helped me to keep focus on ‘meaning’: the meaning of my/our existence, the meaning of who we are, the meaning of moments in time, and how they all converge into what we experience as ‘life’.
This week’s FREE PDF is a VERY SHORT one I just finished reading called “15 Meditations on Meaning”. I hope it will help you the way it’s helped me.
In addition, there’s a BONUS VIDEO below.
