Ok. Real talk for a minute. Everyone wants more out of life than we have, right? I’ve found in life that being content means being complacent, being stagnant.

You can’t go forward in life if you’re content with the status quo. Life and all of its experiences are to be LIVED, not TOLERATED. Like the line goes in “The Shawshank Redemption”: ‘get busy living………or get busy dying’. In this life, my experience is this: you’re either living, or you’re just existing.

One thing also that you must break in your mind: you can’t let the level of success (or lack thereof) be a dictate upon your own life. We are all creatures of our own choices. Meaning, we are what we are based on the decisions we’ve made that have us at the current moment right now. People make choices and with choices come consequences. Don’t let people make YOU feel guilty for living YOUR life YOUR way. And furthermore, don’t let people make you feel guilty for wanting more out of life than THEY CHOSE to go for. You only get one life. ONE shot at the brass ring (click on the photos below to enlarge).
Change your mind, change your life. No truer words have ever been said.
