I’ll be to the point. Depression isn’t much that I can speak with any level of intellectual honesty to. This week’s post is dedicated to that.
I know this much. For whomever is clinically depressed, it’s beyond a difficult road in that most people that have it either don’t know or are afraid to tell someone, talk about it, or get help.
One thing I’ve tried to get better at with regards to these blog posts is different types of foods to help with different types of conditions: proper nutrition as it relates to gut bacteria, brain chemistry and the like. This post will help solve some of those questions you may have
One more thing. There’s no shame in asking for help with something that is a ‘life’ decision. We’re not talking something simple that can be calmed by taking a break from the problem, or walking away and coming back to deal with it with a clear(er) mindset; depression is nothing to play with. People, good people, have committed suicide, murder/suicide, etc. because they simply refused to get help. If it’s you or if you know someone who is, take the step to get counseling. Nobody’s going to laugh at you, and those who can’t see your plight are soulless dolts who frankly don’t matter to begin with. It’s about you and YOUR life, no one else’s.
This week’s FREE PDF is a VERY SHORT read that gives a lot of great information on the right kinds of foods that can help to prevent depression.
