There’s no worse feeling than going online or physically going into your bank………..only to notice it’s not there anymore. What about my money? What about my accounts? How do I get access to them?
Well, each account is insured with the FDIC for up to $100,000, for starters, so your money is ok. However, as far back as 2008 with the housing crash and too many banks being underwater, there were a plethora of bank closings every week that left thousands if not millions in the above scenario.
Information is needed by consumers to determine not only if they’re with the right financial institution, but if they need to get the jump on one that’s about to go under.
