Normally I’d have 2 separate blog posts for giveaways, but at this End of Year/End of Decade post, I’ll keep it short and simple.
10 years is clearly a long time. So many things have happened in the last 10 years to us all: success, tragedy, growth, loss, happiness, and change. I, like many of you, have had my fair share of good times and bad times, but the fact that we’ve persevered to this point is a testament of our willingness to stay in the fight, and not give up.
It is my hope that as we move through the next ten years of “this thing called life?”, we would all resolve to grow together, in the same positive direction, bringing nothing but good to each other, to enhance the lives of others as we strive to enhance our own.
It’s my hope on this dawn of a new decade that we leave old, non-productive habits behind, find what it is in us that will help bring about peace, joy and happiness for us and those around us. It it my hope that we, the citizens of the world, will not be so judgmental and revert back to a simple method: live and let live. I have learned over the last year or so that life is indeed too short to have petty differences that, in the end, mean next to nothing anyway. That kind of energy doesn’t serve us well anymore. Time to put away differences and build bridges, mend fences where possible, and be the most non-stressed beings that we can be.
Let’s make a shift in thought, a shift in life, a shift in us that will allow us to become what we were all meant to become in life. The best ‘us‘ that we can be, for us. It is most essential for us to make life more meaningful.
Here’s to 10 more years of what I feel my purpose is, informing and entertaining people with my shows, keeping people ‘In The KNOW’, and hopefully fulfilling my goal of becoming a News Anchor, where I can keep the masses ‘in the know’. I will tell you that I have several shows already planned for 2020, and I’m looking forward to filming/editing them and uploading them to YouTube, so I have several things to look forward to in the coming year.
I look forward to keeping “In The KNOW” with Phil Hayes as successful as I can, so that hopefully, at the last post before 2030, 10 years from now, we can all look back on this post and see how far we’ve come in life from this point.
